Pria provides services for children with
developmental delays using positive reinforcement, applied behavior
analysis (ABA),
and socialization via inclusion as its primary methods
of instruction.
Individualized
programs based upon each child’s developmental needs are created and
provided in a nurturing environment.
Our philosophy is to construct a teaching
environment that maximizes the child’s success and minimizes failures.
This is accomplished by breaking down
concepts to teach skills that are appropriate and socially accepted.
As the child masters each skill, he
or she builds upon those skills to achieve the next level of learning.
Each child receives a program tailored to
his or her individual needs.
This intensive early intervention also
promotes appropriate and meaningful social interactions with typically
developing peers.
Our methodology combines the benefits of
positive reinforcement, applied behavior analysis, and inclusion; this
helps children make faster progress, closing the gap between their
developmental age and their chronological age.
The
CDC highly recommends early intensive behavioral intervention
for children with autism and
other developmental delays. Studies
have scientifically proven over the last
several decades that ABA is the most successful
intervention for children with autism.
Pria provides this intervention for children
showing signs of developmental delays to regain lost skills and continue
learning.
